Today Microsoft Australia announced that it’s expanding it’s Surface reseller network within Australia. I’m proud to announce that SIAX Computing Solutions are one of the initial batch of resellers included as part of this announcement. This is something we have been campaigning for, for a long period of time – both directly to Microsoft and to various Australian distributors and we welcome Microsoft’s announcement and inclusion to the program with open arms.
Beginning January 12, 2016, only the most current version of Internet Explorer available for a supported operating system will receive technical supports and security updates. Internet Explorer 11 is the last version of Internet Explorer, and will continue to receive security updates, compatibility fixes, and technical support on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10.
You may not realize, but this was probably the release Microsoft envisaged Windows 10 to be at launch. The release of Windows 10 was brought forward to late July – meaning is was still a bit rough around the edges when it launched.
