Today Microsoft Australia announced that it’s expanding it’s Surface reseller network within Australia. I’m proud to announce that SIAX Computing Solutions are one of the initial batch of resellers included as part of this announcement. This is something we have been campaigning for, for a long period of time – both directly to Microsoft and to various Australian distributors and we welcome Microsoft’s announcement and inclusion to the program with open arms.
This announcement is also fantastic recognition of where SIAX Computing Solutions is seen as a company within the IT community, following our recent CRN Fast50 achievement (as one of Australia fastest growing IT companies) and from CIO Outlook (recognized as one of ASIA Pacific’s 25 most promising Microsoft Solution providers).

This announcement is a major win for our clients. To have direct access to the complete Surface range allows SIAX Computing Solutions to increase the outcomes our clients can achieve through their technology investments and improve the mobility, flexibility and productivity for their employee’s as a result.

Today I am excited to announce another significant expansion to our channel strategy to meet the overwhelming demand for Surface devices in Australia, giving more partners the opportunity to sell Surface.
The global expansion was first announced at WPC last year and we’ve been working hard to develop the expansion model here in Australia and are delighted to share it with you today.
We are opening up our channel to give the opportunity to more of our partner network to sell Surface. When looking at new partners to bring into the program there are a range of critical capabilities we consider, all focused on ensuring we delight our joint customers. Great Surface partners are those who couple a robust existing devices business with experience in mobility solutions and managed services. Many of these partners are also transitioning their businesses to the cloud.
Today more than 150 authorised device resellers have expressed interest and we expect this number to grow in the coming months. We are already seeing positive feedback from some of our newest authorised device resellers.
The expansion demonstrates that we have the ability to scale and we’re able to deliver the best program and experience for our partners and customers. Now with the breadth of coverage across our channel, we’re in a position to deliver on customer demand in ways that we have never had the ability to do before.
